Thrifty AI was co-founded by Harsh Jha while he was still in 12th grade — building “Artificial Humans” long before agentic AI was a category, while pursuing a bachelor’s degree at BITS Pilani. Along the way he picked up Stanford summer school, 400+ awards, and published AI research papers, but the real education was watching demos die on contact with real operations.
His obsession isn’t how intelligent AI can become — it’s how secure, reliable, and trustworthy it is, and turning that conviction into systems enterprises and governments actually run on.
